TikTok Ad Awards
On November 18, 2025, an exclusive award show was held in De Wester, especially for the advertisers of TikTok. On behalf of creative agency OVAL we were responsible for the entire event styling and spatial layout of the location. The surfing and customisation were developed by OVAL.
The result was a tight, dynamic and contemporary setting in which TikTok branding, design and experience came together seamlessly and strengthened each other. Due to the interplay of light, colour, material use and a smart spatial layout, an energetic atmosphere was created that fully matched the creative and innovative identity of TikTok and raised the experience for the guests to a higher level.
An evening for advertisers
The award show brought together 160 advertisers, brands and offices from the Benelux. During the evening, campaigns were awarded that excelled in creativity, community commitment and measurable results on the platform.
A total of five awards were awarded, including categories such as: Greatest Creative, Greatest Branding, Greatest Performance, Greatest Impact and the top prize Greatest TikTok. The ceremony was the highlight of an evening in which innovation, creativity and marketing impact were central.
From concept to space
For this project we have developed the entire location in SketchUp and translated it into a clear and functional format for the award show. By fully modelling the space in advance, routing, sight lines and audience flows were optimally tailored to the evening's programme.

Styling & cooperation
The styling closely matched the iconic colours, graphic style and energy of TikTok. The surfing and customisation were developed by OVAL. Combining their graphic elements with our styling and furniture created a powerful and coherent overall experience in space.
Materials that gave the experience a boost
The design has been chosen for a mix of modern and industrial elements that are well suited to the dynamic appearance of the platform. The combination of clean lines, dark materials and striking accents provided a contemporary setting that perfectly matched the character of the event.
The space gained extra character through carefully chosen furniture and styling elements, while the existing columns were enriched with plants and floral arrangements. This created extra atmosphere and a lively contrast to the graphical branding and lighting installations.

As project manager, I was involved from the start in the realization of the TikTok Ad Awards in De Wester, an event where creativity and experience come together. In close collaboration with OVAL, responsible for surfing and customization, we translated this into a strong spatial overall experience. The challenge was to make TikTok's energy and innovative power palpable in every corner of the location. The result: a tight, dynamic setting in which everything was right, from routing to atmosphere. Proud of how we put together an event that made real impact.
