Mama Deli Experience
From a colourful supermarket to a greenhouse full of fresh ingredients: During the Nine Months Fair, Mama Deli's world came to life in several places. We designed and realized three exhibition concepts in which young parents could discover the products, learn more about the origin of the baby food and make use of various fair offers.
From the first briefing and moodboards we worked together with Mama Deli on the concept and translated the ideas into an appropriate stand design.
Fresh from the greenhouse
The Mama Deli Experience was completely dedicated to the journey that the food travels. A large greenhouse formed the striking entrance to a green world full of plants, fresh ingredients and colourful illustrations.
Visitors discovered step by step how Mama Deli's frozen baby food is made: from carefully selected ingredients to a healthy meal. The recognizable characters, bright brand colours and playful communication made the story accessible and understandable to young families.
Shopping at Mama Deli
The Mama Deli Supermarkt was decorated as a complete shopping environment, with shopping cars, freezers, product presentations, cashiers and a delivery place. Visitors could get acquainted with the range and buy and bring the baby food directly.
Mama Deli also invented an action specifically for the fair in which visitors received an attractive deal when they applied. The supermarket was not only about product experience and sales, but also about building a long-term relationship with new customers.
The pink stand construction, green accents and recognizable fruit and vegetable figures made the supermarket visible from a distance. For example, an everyday shopping moment turned into a colourful brand experience.

Creative design within the rules of the location
A scholarship design must not only be visually strong, but also comply with the rules of the location. In event halls such as RAI strict requirements apply around fire safety, materials and routing.
These conditions were included in the design from the beginning. Thus we prevented last-minute modifications during the construction and Mama Deli knew in advance that the concept was technically feasible and ready for approval.
From design to perfect colour combination
For the design we used reusable Brooklyn wall panels in combination with stand columns. Both parts can be re-used. The stand columns can also be finished completely in a desired colour, so they fit well with different brands and concepts.
Re-board was also widely used within the design. This light and sturdy sheet material is recyclable and is suitable for colourful artwork, shapes and illustrations.
We determined the right colour combination together with Mama Deli. During the design process we worked out different color proposals and used a white drawing to compare the possibilities. By continuing to scroll, combine and refine, the right balance between the different brand colors emerged. After nine designs we came to the final result.
Designer Deborah
"I love cute and immediately became enthusiastic about the colours, icons and the complete corporate style of Mama Deli. Together with Ina, the project manager, we could completely lose our creativity.
What made this project extra fun was that I could follow the entire route up close. This allows you to see how design choices work out in practice and what learnings you can take to the next project."
