Dobla | Sihra Lyon
A recurring international project.
In 2023 we carried out a cool project for our returning customer Dobla! They specialize in the most beautiful chocolate decorations where everything pertains to experience and the stimulation of senses. It's what you taste, what you feel, the memory it evokes. An unconscious experience.
At one of the largest catering trade fairs, Sihra Lyon in France, we conducted the process from concept to stand. The result: a full immersive experience.

♪ Passry through State of Mind ♪
From outside you saw a closed position. There was light through it, a hint that something special was going on inside.
Outside was a chocolatetier ready with the most beautiful creations. But before you found out anything, he asked the questions: How do you feel and where are you now? This gave you a colour (yellow, blue, red or green), a matching wristband and a headphones that you took with you through the stand.
Fun . . . .
for people that want to enjoy
The first phase began with pleasure with the color yellow. At "FUN" you went back to the inner child that is still inside you. You could touch, read, hear and see. A spinning merry-go-round full of chocolate, cloud swing, a rocket and a Candy Store.
Knowledge
for curious people that want to understand
The next phase was about sharing knowledge. Knowledge about Dobla, about chocolate, about senses and about the bakery business. Here was a life-size book with information you could browse through, surrounded by bookshelves with books as product display of chocolate creations. The color blue was central here. Not just because blue stands for intelligence, professionalism and reliability. Through the headphones you heard leafy pages and fingers slipping over paper.
Adventurous
for people that want to explore
The next phase was designed to pull you out of your comfort zone. Feel blindly in a secret box, taste the most pronounced combinations such as pepper and lava, the extreme. This is where you had to dare.
Harmony
for people that want to reconnect
The final phase was completely devoted to resting with the color green. The room was filled with plants, trees, mirrors, smoke and sounds of birds and wind. Everything was focused on one thing. Take you back to a memory. Shadows, reflections and silence.
The result?
A stock exchange that didn't sell, but made it feel.
Visitors came in as visitors and went out as part of an experience. The power of experience design, exactly what we excel in.
