For various fires we have been able to produce cool terrace items during the last winter. Of course, happy with such assignments at this time!
From March everything was a bit ready and waiting for green light for the opening of the terraces. The production of new applications continued, but it took and took time for the furniture and eyecatchers produced in our workshop to get out.
We sometimes felt like a market merchant in the ring; "Can it already, may it already, ooh you're going to change the pavement, no don't give then they stay with us for a while."
Finally, our children with a small layer of fabric were allowed to go shining at various outlets.
The production continues steadily and consequently there is room for more requests. But what do you have to consider setting up a terrace?
The most important thing is taking into account weather influences such as rain, but certainly wind. Fortunately, nowadays there are all cool materials that are water repellent or completely water-permeable. Our custom wooden terrace items are produced from Douglas or hardwood, of course sustainably cut. The finish is achieved with breathable paint products. In terms of wind, you should think of increase, for example through plant boxes or clogged sandbags. But also avoid too large wind . Yes and then the warmth, personally I am not a fan of heaters, both for the environment and the wallet of the catering entrepreneur, are not recommended. Fortunately, there are more and more alternatives like heat pads and certainly also the blankets. By looking at intimate corners with little wind in the design you can also extend the terrace time.
In terms of design, it can all be a bit bolder on a terrace than inside. Big gestures are important, because no small accessories here. But make it a good mix, especially sofas ensure an inviting atmosphere on the terrace. With convenient dividers, stand tables, a mix of different seats and especially lots of green you create a pleasant atmosphere. Think of the box and integrate a bicycle rack into the design or an Insta wall. We are currently designing several terraces, if you are curious about the possibilities, we would like to invite you to an introduction.
Do all these materials have to be purchased new? No way, precisely because of a mix of old and new materials, a terrace is going to live much more and we can win a lot in terms of sustainability. So it's cool to have the fires, which we work for, refurbished and rebranded many materials that are no longer used.
What makes Boozed? That is quite infinite; from fireshell to swinging bench, from outside bar to henhouse! Chicken coop? Yes henhouse, our own courtyard has recently been equipped with a great henhouse with vegetable garden on the roof. Fresh eggs and the leftovers of the salad go back to the chickens. Circular and super cozy!
We would like to invite you to our terrace to discuss the possibilities.
