It already feels like a while ago, but on 1 March (2023) a large part of the Boozed design team left for Düsseldorf. Here the Euroshop took place, where we get a lot of inspiration. This inspiring trade fair takes place once every 3 years.
At least there was enough to see; We've walked through 17 halls. Some faster than others, but there is no lack of inspiration. Many technical
things that don't mean much to me (Deborah) personally, but fortunately I've also seen a lot of creative expressions. There were clearly certain trends that emerged at the fair and here we have Boozed 3 names/themes are attached to and have started to fill in.
We distinguish the 3 currents/theme dynamometers as follows:
Dreamland
This is by far my favorite. There's nothing great in this and everything is in a hysterical harmony. Personally, I think it is a combination between Alice in Wonderland and a futuristic dream, with a lot of round and soft shapes. Think of imaginations such as reflections, oil stains, blurry and things that are impossible to see. In terms of materials, you can see a lot of fluffs, mirror balls (no disco balls), matt glass or soft, smooth materials. You can see this style coming back to events and festivals more and more, and we have applied it several times. Love it!
A number of projects where the Dreamland style was already visible were:
- The All my favorite colours space to be found at Project Playground. Curious? Read our blog about Project Playground here.
- The Entrance Awards 2023, of which you can find a little impression here.
- The fluff in combination with the mirrors on the Red Bull Orange Ball Meet you here.

Wasteland
Here was the stand of Hans Boodt really a winner, as you can see on the photos below. The Wasteland concept is very strong by putting in the wash and reusing it in such a stylish way that everyone wants it. Think of different sheet materials and colours. The art of this is to use the raw of the ostensibly washed pine as tight as possible, giving you a very fine look with a strong story.

Good New World
This is a trend that has been going on for a while, where many green, natural materials and sustainability are central. We only see a slight shift to organic forms and a more feminine appearance. This is what we have been doing during our events. We have a beautiful Shape of Nature Bar within this theme.
