Briefing
With us, the design process always starts with a briefing. The account manager has the contact with the customer and ensures that the briefing arrives at us as clearly as possible. Here we discuss some important/standard points such as the number of persons, what is needed from us, what do we deliver? Is that a moodboard or a elaborate 3d plan? Then time is scheduled for each component and we can start!

At Suzan & Freek we already received a clear briefing including corporate identity from the client. We were immediately able to work on the development of the chosen concept: Dreams in colour. Which areas are desired and how can we translate the moodboard to a feasible space?

Inspiration & Brainstorm
Before we start drawing/sketching, we first carefully look at the customer's briefing and then look for inspirational images together. In addition, we often describe ourselves, so we have enough to check with the customer whether we are heading in the right direction. At Suzan & Freek there was already a moodboard from the customer, which we have supplemented with our own moodboard to translate the concept. There were specific instagramable areas requested and we immediately started sketching for this. We also start with signing in the preliminary design within the given event location.

Provisional proposal and fine tunes
After the first proposal, we continue to fine tune the design on the basis of the client's feedback. There were some style changes at Suzan & Freek and new wishes for a photobooth and a chat room. These were not yet in the first proposal and have been nicely integrated into the new design. For example, the proposal goes back and forth until all the wishes and requirements are incorporated in the Final Proposal.
