Here comes the setdresser!!
I heard my client say that when I walked in. Setdresser? I've never seen myself like this. Suddenly I am apparently, earlier in the day I was also stylist understood me and I was told that I am the experts when building and decorating a livestream setting together with a colleague. Oh, dear.
As a sober Dutch I am not so conscious about it, but went to think more about it through these kinds of remarks. What exactly are we doing?
Since the start of the Covid-19 crisis, we provide a lot of decor and stage building (we call this stage design?), decor and decoration with props for livestreams, studio and TV settings, online & hybrid events, name it! Not much different than what we've been doing over the past 15 years with enthusiasm. However, this now takes a bigger place in the work of Boozed by the disappearance of all events.
One time that crazy, pink diving board and a ball pool with props for recording a video clip, then the launch of a new line of Pom Amsterdam, the total decoration and styling of a TV show or the Instagramable making Omega PR events for Beautiful PR, we have been performing these projects successfully for years.

Fire building and event design were always the pillars of Boozed, you're sometimes only less aware of it, because it goes naturally, because we grew so fast, because we actually didn't show much of us in newsletters and socials, because we do what we do best without pooha. Also because we didn't name the bugs, didn't stop to think about what we all have for beautiful projects and in my case, because I get all the creeps when a colleague asks "don't you want to write a Blog?"
But with a creative team of designers, stylists and carpenters, you can think about what you do and let them hear from you. I understand that now and it seems that clients and industry gutters find that interesting too.
Actually, it's also nice to be with your team on the self-designed, fully equipped, decorated and finished stage and to know what you stand for.
